WATCH OUT!: Lelia Broussard

To say that she's a Top 40 artist, I'm not promising that. But many people forget that artists like Broussard that we called Adult Contemporary this days, was the artists that dominates the late 90's and early 00's airwaves. Natalie Imbruglia, Sheryl Crow and Jewel just to name a few. Though the last two have a more rocker (Crow) and country-ier (Jewel) sound they all belong in the same main category. But Natalie and even the recent Ingrid Michaelson is a great example of who Lelia is. But I'm not saying that she's so ten years ago, she's just in that category but she's a more modern Adult Contemporary. And the sound of this is all over her debut album, masquerade that was released late last year but didn't get

attention that it deserves till this year. The album is Pop Indie Rock (aka Adult Contemporary or 'Pop' of the late 90's) is a quite good debut. And it didn't came as a surprise when Rolling Stones Magazine choose her to be one of the sixteen finalist to be features along with a cover of one of the magazine Summer issue. She is know been voted to be in the top eight along with some others new and rising artists.
