The 2010 American Music Awards started with a bang with the opening performance by Rihanna. She sang a medley of songs off her latest album, Loud. The show then continue with more performances by the more darker Miley Cyrus, red glittering Katy Perry, the piano playing Justin Bieber, Straight Hair Taylor Swift, the pregnant P!nk, the Pussycat Wannabe Christina Aguilera, the dancing Usher and finishes with a mash-up between New Kids of The Block & Backstreet Boys. But the true winner of the night is Justin Bieber winning 4 awards including the top award of the night, Favorite Artist. Bieber also won Favourite Pop/Rock album, Favourite Pop/Rock Male, and the show's Breakthrough Artist award.
